Most providers only reveal the actual costs – and what’s charged as an extra – in their quote PDF. We do it the other way round: our prices are listed here, in full and with complete accuracy. You pay for one licence per employee for 365 days, and that covers everything. That’s the key difference compared to many other models – no module surcharges, no extra charges for updates, no hidden costs.
The licence – per employee per year
The more employees you have, the cheaper the individual licence becomes. Here’s a detailed breakdown of each tier:

All prices are net, plus statutory VAT. The annual prices are exact; the monthly figures are simply extrapolated to a monthly basis and are for guidance only – hence ‘approx.’.
How the tiered pricing works: Each licence is charged at the price of the tier into which it falls. If your team grows beyond a tier boundary, the lower price applies from the respective licence number onwards – your existing licences retain their price. The following examples illustrate what this means in practice.

- The Updates Service with Legal Radar: We continuously monitor the relevant regulations, announce upcoming changes in advance as soon as they become foreseeable, and incorporate them into the relevant training courses no later than 8 days after they come into force – often sooner

One-off: Set-up and customisation
We set up your platform and tailor it to your organisation once at the start. This includes, amongst other things, importing employee data or setting up SSO integration, your company profile, your organisation-specific AI policy, incorporating your organisation’s specific requirements into all training courses, and activating Woody for each course.

The set-up fee is based on the number of employees in your company – not on the number of licences booked.
A note on company-specific content: We provide this exclusively in the languages you supply to us. We do not translate customer-specific content – this ensures that responsibility for its technical and linguistic accuracy remains where the knowledge about your company lies: with you.
Billing and Term
The model is deliberately simple: one licence per employee, valid for 365 days. Here’s how billing works:
- Licences are paid for upfront and annually.
- For longer contract terms, you continue to pay year by year: the annual amount becomes due again after 365 days – not the entire term in one go.
- Reorders – additional licences for new employees – have their own 365-day term from the date of activation and are invoiced at the time of ordering.
- The one-off set-up fee is payable at the start, together with the first annual payment.
Fair ways to save
We deliberately keep the licence price stable. Instead of negotiating discounts, there are clearly defined ways to save that are worthwhile for you:
- Term bonus: 10% off the licence fee for a 24-month term, 15% for a 36-month term – with a 36-month term, you also receive a price guarantee for the entire term.
- Migration protection – no customer pays twice: If you switch from an ongoing contract with another provider, we will credit the proven remaining term against the licence fee – for up to twelve months, up to a maximum of 50% of the first year’s licence costs. A copy of the invoice or contract is sufficient.
Both benefits can be combined.

What counts as an employee?
A licence is personalised and assigned to a named user. You therefore pay only for the people who are actually being trained.
What happens if the law changes?
You do not need to do anything. As soon as a relevant change is foreseeable, we will give you advance notice so that you can prepare for it. The adjustment will be implemented in the affected training courses no later than 8 days after the change comes into force – often sooner. At no extra cost and for all customers.
In which languages are the training courses available?
